Buzzing Dimmers Is it a wire wound toroidal transformer? If so then there will always be some buzzing, to minimise it use a filter and change the breaker from a B type to a C type. If the transformer is electronic is it a trailing edge transformer? If so check the dimmer is also trailing edge. If it’s not trailing edge then check if it’s a recommended brand, either Mode, Collingwood or IBL as these are tested by us and found to be the most effective.
